About the role
Following the acquisition of DB Schenker, DSV is evolving into the world’s largest logistics and freight forwarding company. You will support this transformation by guiding cross-domain decisions, aligning platform capabilities, and ensuring our enterprise data platform evolves to support scalable, integrated operations across the business.
You will join our Enterprise Architecture Enablement & Solutions team. The team focuses on enabling early-stage ideas – working from ideation and business sparring through to assessment, direction setting, and implementation.
Anchored in Global IT, you will be working on some of the most transformative digital initiatives in DSV, enabling the company to operate as one digital enterprise by connecting data, intelligence, and workflows across divisions, systems, customers, and geographies.
DSV is building an Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) to consolidate all internal and external data sources. This will create one single source of truth for data, ensuring that all our data is accurate and event-driven, with real-time updates.
This is a high-priority strategic initiative to build an enterprise-wide data platform that provides a shared foundation for better decisions, enables smarter work, and unlocks the many possibilities of AI within our industry.
You will have a clear mandate to set the direction and play a key role in shaping DSV's future architectures in collaboration with other IT functions and our business verticals.
Your key responsibilities include:
Set and drive enterprise architecture strategy across data, platforms, and enabling technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals
Shape and evolve enterprise data architecture, including governance, models, integration, and lifecycle management
Guide cross-domain decisions and system integration to enable scalable, standardised, and interoperable solutions
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture and drive data-driven capabilities across analytics and decision-making
Establish and promote standards, best practices, and compliance frameworks for data management, security, and regulatory requirements
Provide technical leadership by mentoring architects, evaluating emerging technologies, and helping ensure DSV remains at the forefront of innovation
Your workplace will be in our modern headquarters located in Hedehusene, near Copenhagen.
What you bring:
Experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or senior solution architecture roles, ideally in complex or global environments
Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, including governance, lifecycle management, MDM, and data quality frameworks
Knowledge of relevant infrastructure and technologies such as containerisation, MongoDB Atlas, relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL), and Kafka
Experience working with modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, data lakes, integration tools)
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and their practical application
Ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicate complex topics clearly, and drive strategic decisions
Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and data-driven decision-making
Nice to have:
Certifications such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar
Experience from transport and logistics or large-scale transformations
What you gain
A key role in shaping one of the largest logistics transformations globally
Direct influence on enterprise architecture at scale
Exposure to complex, global platforms and data landscapes
Opportunities to grow across functions and geographies
A global, collaborative environment where your contribution helps keep the world moving
