We're an independent company of around 50 people based in Copenhagen, with a 4.7-star rating and a simple mission: make financial insight accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford an accountant.
Our IT has grown with us. We're now at the point where it makes sense to have one person own it properly, from infrastructure and security to the everyday stuff that keeps 50 people running smoothly. This is a new role, and there's a real opportunity here to shape how IT works at a company that takes it seriously.
About the role
You'll own our entire IT function end-to-end. That means setting the strategy, and then actually doing the work: implementing, operating, and continuously improving the systems that keep us moving. You'll report directly to the CTO and work in close partnership with him on direction.
The scope covers internal IT infrastructure, device management, identity, security, and compliance. You'll also be the go-to person when someone's laptop isn't behaving or a new starter needs to be onboarded. This role asks for both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and we're looking for someone who's genuinely comfortable with both.
What you'll do
Define and execute the IT strategy and roadmap, working closely with the CTO
Own identity and access management: provisioning, access rights, least-privilege enforcement, and license management
Keep our endpoint fleet in good shape, mostly MacBooks with some Windows, using Intune and Defender
Look after our network infrastructure, including Fortigate firewall, switches, and access points
Turn security requirements into practical controls and configurations, and support our compliance work
Run day-to-day IT operations for around 50 people: onboarding, offboarding, support, and keeping tools like Microsoft 365 and Slack running smoothly. If support load grows over time, we'll find the right solution together. Whether that's a student helper or something else.

Who we're looking for
We're open on the exact background. If you've owned an IT function before, great. If you're a senior IT professional who's been working closely alongside IT leadership and is ready to step up and own it yourself, we'd love to hear from you. You'll work in close partnership with the CTO. This is a growth opportunity as much as it is a senior role.
What matters most:
Must-have
Solid hands-on IT experience. You're comfortable planning and executing across infrastructure, endpoints, identity, and security
Experience working somewhere where security isn't an afterthought. Finance or fintech is a good example
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Defender
Experience managing MacBook fleets (our primary device), alongside Windows
A security mindset that knows when to push back and when to keep things simple. You find solutions that protect without getting in people's way
You use AI in your daily work, you're always on the lookout for new ways to apply it, and you're genuinely excited about where it's going
Comfortable with hands-on end-user support. When someone's laptop isn't charging, their VPN is playing up, or their screen is flickering, you're the person they turn to. It's not the main part of the job and the volume is manageable, but you don't consider it beneath you, and you're good at it.
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIS2
Experience with Fortinet/Fortigate network equipment

Location
Copenhagen. We're an office-first company, and it's a deliberate choice. We're moving fast, we have big ambitions, and we genuinely believe that being physically together is one of the things that makes that possible. Things move quicker when you can turn your chair and talk to someone. We want to be upfront about this so you know what to expect.
And if we're asking people to be in the office, we want it to be worth their while. We're a five-minute walk from Rådhuspladsen, stocked with everything from fruit to fizzy drinks to afternoon snacks, and lunch is at Claus Meyer's canteen just across the street, proper food, not an afterthought. If you're putting in a long day, dinner is covered too.
Salary: Competitive, and based on your experience.
